Love, Desire & Riches

Win one of four family passes!

The Courier and the not-for-profit National Trust have teamed up to give you the chance to win a family pass to a truly amazing exhibition in New South Wales.

From July 10th to November 1st, one of the biggest collections of wedding fashion ever seen in Australia will be on display in Sydney at Old Government House. The magnificent venue is Australia's oldest public building and a wonderful place for a day out (it is World Heritage Listed).

The exhibition features iconic gowns from Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge!" and "The Great Gatsby". Famous designs from iconic fashion names like Collette Dinnigan, Mariana Hardwick, Carla Zampatti and Akira Isagowa are all featured.

Over 50 famous and rarely seen wedding gowns and accessories will be on display. There's something for everyone.

Muriel's wedding dress from "Muriel's Wedding" is on show as well as the extraordinary red gown - designed by Oscar winner Catherine Martin - and worn by Nicole Kidman in "Moulin Rouge!". You can also see Carey Mulligan's beautiful bridal gown from "The Great Gatsby".

Many historic garments tied to the early settlers of New South Wales will be part of "Love, Desire and Riches: The Fashion of Weddings" which spans 200 years.
