Easter - a family time and time to reflect

Easter is a time of spiritual significance for Christians and a special holiday period embraced by all sectors of the community.

It is a time when family and friends gather and celebrate and reflect on the good things we enjoy, spiritually and materially in our great country. Locally we can also recognise the immense value of a close knit community and look to supporting our local community.

Underpinning our quality of life are our local businesses.

Support for local small businesses is a vital element in keeping our shire prosperous. Amid the holidays is a great time to shop and Narrabri businesses have the goods and services that draw customers from our immediate area and a wide swathe of the region.

Logan and Co Furniture and Bedding - best products at best prices, locally

Logan and Co Furniture and Bedding has the largest and most up to date range of furniture and bedding for Easter shoppers.

Katinka Atkins, Kate Logan, Leslie Durkin and Katrina Davis.

Logan and Co Furniture and Bedding now embodies the family name in the store name, as it was when the business first started in 1888. The new name is part of an exciting new era for the Narrabri store.

Logan and Co began has begun importing its own containers of furniture, the first which arrived at the end of 2016. “Tim Logan, Katinka Atkins and I travelled to Vietnam in March last year, and placed orders alongside Fantastic Furniture, Freedom and other large groups,” said Kate Logan, now newly appointed director of Logan and Co Pty Ltd.

“It was an exciting process because whoever bought the ranges first owned the rights to that particular range in Australia, so it was pleasing that our little country business had the rights in Australia to the ranges that we purchased. Our customers loved many of our products, and we were so excited to be able to call the ranges we brought in as our own”. Logan and Co is now also a member of Furniture Court and Beds R Us, which has dramatically increased its buying options.

These will be collected and then distributed locally to ensure all women have access to these vital supplies.
