Hundreds of people joined in a community celebration at The Crossing Theatre to welcome the New Year with fireworks and fun on Sunday night, New Year’s Eve.
Families began to gather early and were settled in with blankets and chairs along the length of the lawns at The Crossing Theatre to enjoy the summer evening and the spectacular show.
Narrabri Rotary’s gourmet barbecue kept the food and drinks coming and the jumping castles and face painter were busy in the lead up to the spectacular fireworks display which lit up the night sky from 9pm. This was the second annual fireworks and family night and organisers were delighted with the attendance.
There was also a good turnoput at the Boggabri RSL on the night.
