A formal finale to Narrabri High School for Year 12 students

The young men and women who have just completed Year 12 at Narrabri High School gathered for the last social occasion of the year at their formal, held at The Crossing Theatre last Friday night.

The students received their final report card and awards in a small ceremony at the beginning of the event, which was followed by dinner.

During the dinner, speeches were made by principal Dinos Charalambous and Year Advisor Ms Emily Flood.

Mr Rick Partridge, who was the Year Advisor of this group until three years ago, when he moved away, also attended and addressed the students.

The 2018 school captains Adam Hennessey and Chelsea Hancock rounded off the formal part of the evening with their speeches.

The MCs for the event were incoming school captains Layten Smith and Georgia Goodhew.

The evening’s entertainment continued with a DJ and dancing and those attending also had access to a photo booth to create a lasting momento of the evening.

This year’s cohort of Year 12 students now face the anxious wait for HSC results.
