Now THAT’S a school project...

Narrabri High School Year 12 industrial technology students get their HSC projects assessed

THE TRAILER THAT JACK BUILT: Narrabri High School Year 12 student Jack Brennan in front of the 4m by 2.5m steel trailer he built as his HSC industrial technology project. In behind are teachers Les Hala and Greg House and fellow students Will Cain, Thomas Gett and Harrison Russell. Harrison is holding the bass guitar he built as his project. William built a dog/tool box and Thomas built a Faber tool chest and photos of those and other work will be in a future edition of The Courier.

What do a large steel trailer, a bass guitar, a suit of armour, dog box, tool chest and wakeboard have in common?
They’re all projects by this year’s HSC industrial technology students at Narrabri High School.
The 11 students had their projects marked by two assessors yesterday, and will now face a nervous wait for a mark that makes up 60 per cent of their final result.
But they should reflect on some great work, much of which will be featured in a future issue of The Courier.
The trailer and bass guitar pictured here are but a sample of some high-quality workmanship.
