Random acts of kindness are appreciated

Successful initiative rounds off the year on a high note

GREAT IDEA: Narrabri High School SRC members Alex Hall, Charlotte Penberthy, Annika Langfield, former teacher Maree Ford, Montana Olding, Rachael Van Gosliga, Caitlin Mealing, relieving principal Dinos Charalambous, Emma Redfern, Riley Longworth, teacher Indigo Rosenblatt, Carla Campbell from State Member for Barwon Kevin Humphries' office, Mr Humphries, Sofia Fawcett, Paige Fielder and Laura McFarland.

One of the big success stories of 2017 was the Random Acts of Kindness initiative from the Narrabri High School Student Representative Council.

The SRC has become a familiar sight handing out gifts to passers-by along the CBD blocks of Maitland Street as well as in various random mailboxes around Narrabri.

They were at it again towards the end of last year, distributing calendars they made before the end of the school year.

One of those calendars found its way to the office of State Member for Barwon Kevin Humphries, and he was so impressed he dropped by the school to thank them on the second-last day of the school year, Thursday, December 14.
