Narrabri’s business community, the owners, operators and staff of enterprises ranging from sole traders to corporate entities, was celebrated at the 2017 Narrabri Chamber of Commerce Bell and Johnson Business Awards on Saturday night.
The 13th business awards presentation dinner, an initiative of Narrabri Chamber of Commerce, again attracted strong support with a record attendance of about 350 at The Crossing Theatre.
Recipients of awards across a wide range of categories reflecting the mix of local enterprises and skills stepped on to the stage to accept recognition from their peers and the community.
The top award, Narrabri Business of the Year, went to Carla Baxter Real Estate, a new business established by proprietor Carla Baxter one year ago after 19 years in the Narrabri real estate industry. The company also won the Employer Of Choice Up To Five People award.
“We are proud to be part of the Narrabri business and wider community,” said Ms Baxter.
“Our success is down to our hard working team, Ros Hay and Leah Baguley and our full commitment to our customers.”
