Sydney air service takes off

It's been a while, but regular air services between Narrabri and Sydney have started again

The new Narrabri to Sydney air service was officially launched on Wednesday morning, with little formality but an air of excitement and satisfaction among travellers, Fly Corporate executives and council representatives.
The on-time departure of the first flight to Sydney signalled the conclusion of a long process of discussion and planning by Narrabri Shire Council and the airline. Flights will now leave for Sydney each weekday, complementing the Narrabri to Brisbane flights. Both services will be non-stop from the capitals to Narrabri. “The start of the Fly Corporate service today opens up a new chapter for Narrabri Shire,” Mayor Cathy Redding said.
Fly Corporate sales manager Geoff Woodham is an enthusiast for Narrabri and the airline service to the shire.
