His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of NSW and his wife Linda spent a busy day in Narrabri on Tuesday.
The visitors met community members from across the spectrum of social and welfare groups to innovative business.
Narrabri people were delighted to meet the Governor and Mrs Hurley and discuss their roles and lives in the community.
The vice regal visitors were in Narrabri as part of their ongoing program to meet as many people in regional NSW as they can. They had previously visited Coonabarabran and following their day in Narrabri travelled to Gunnedah.
The Governor and Mrs Hurley are in the third year of their five-year term as the Queen’s representative in NSW.
Each month the couple ensures that country visits are part of their already busy schedule of commitments in the coastal cities.
