Eleven-year old Narrabri Shire swimmer Angus Ciesiolka recently competed at the 2018 School Sport Australia Swimming Championships in Hobart.
And he did so with success, making the sportiest town in Australia an extremely proud one.
Angus, the son of Sarah and Matt Ciesiolka, competed in two solo events at the championships.
Those were the 11-years 100-metre and 50-metre backstroke.
He qualified for the finals in both events, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
He also set new personal best times in both events.
Angus also represented NSW on Monday in the 11-years 4x50-metre freestyle relay.
His team finished equal fourth with Victoria and he swam an impressive 30.20 which was also a personal best.
Angus’ National Championships campaign began on Friday morning when he competed in the 100-metre backstroke preliminaries.
