Ten Narrabri Stingrays swimmers travelled to the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre last month to compete at the NSW Country Championships.
The travelling team included Ella Tomlinson, Molly Michell-Smith, Clare Jensen, Charlotte Penberthy, Cooper Hall, Nick Tomlinson, Jonty Fowler, Toby Michell-Smith, Harrison Bennett and Angus Ciesiolka.
Six swimmers swam in individual events, while eight competed in relays.
The standout for Narrabri at the event was Angus.
He placed second in the men’s 11-years 100m backstroke final, and third in the men’s 12-years-and-under 200m medley relay A-leg three final alongside Harrison, Cooper and Toby.
Angus also broke the Stingrays 11-years 50m backstroke record with a time of 36.28.
That was previously held by Trent Owers.
Finally, Angus, bettered his own 100m butterfly record with a time of 1:18.42.
Ella, Charlotte, Harrison and Toby also broke individual club records.
Ella broke the 13-years girls 50m freestyle record in a time of 29.92.
That record was previously held by Laura Gourley.
Charlotte broke the 14-years girls 50m freestyle record with a time of 30.28.
That record was previously held by Tayla Jackson.
Harrison broke the 11-years 50m butterfly record with a time of 34.28, which was previously held by Angus.
Toby broke the 12-years 100m freestyle record with a time of 1:05.30.
That record was previously held by Michael Bell.
Toby also bettered his own records in the 200m and 400m freestyle events.
Both the boys and girls relay teams broke a club relay record at the meeting.
Ella, Charlotte, Molly and Clare broke the 13-14-years 4x50m freestyle relay record with a time of 2:10.34, while Toby, Cooper, Angus, and Harrison broke the 12-years-and-under medley relay record with a time of 2:21.89.
