The Bev Burrows Courts hosted round eight of the Narrabri Netball Association’s winter season on Saturday.

In B-grade there was a top-of-the-table clash between the RSL Babes and Bron’s Babes.

It was second-placed Bron’s Babes which got the job done.

The side downed RSL Babes 45-35 to move even with their round eight opponent on 12 points.

The RSL Babes are still first on points difference.

Meanwhile Fever and Wee Waa Sr are going from strength to strength in the A-grade and C-grade competitions respectively.

The pair were both victorious on Saturday.

However only one of the pair won on-court.

In A-grade Fever was scheduled to play second-placed Mixed Up in a top-two clash, but Mixed Up forfeited the contest.

In C-grade the top-ranked Wee Waa Sr continued its undefeated run at the top of the ladder.

It’s 21-11 win against the third-placed Bluebirds was its eighth

victory from as many attempts in the 2018 season.

Those victories saw the two sides finish round eight with comfortable leads at the top of their respective ladders.

Fever is now four points clear at the top in A-grade, as is Wee Waa in C-grade.

Fever has won six of its eight matches, losing one on-court and forfeiting another.

In the other A-grade match in round eight the Narrabri Pharmacy Flamingos secured their third win of the 2018 campaign, defeating NWC 46-39.

That result saw the Flamingos join NWC on six points, but they trail by points difference.

In the other B-grade match Phoenix and Golfie Grubs drew 32-all.

In the other C-grade match MGAS 13s downed Firebirds 39-6 to remain four points behind leaders Wee Waa Sr.
