Civeo keeps its season alive with win

Civeo downed RSL on Saturday to keep its 2016-17 finals hopes alive

Civeo batsman Lachlan Cameron flicks one to the on side and takes off for a quick single. Watching on are RSL’s Jason Trindall (slip) and Tyson Gilmore (wicketkeeper).

The equation was simple for Civeo heading into its first grade fixture against RSL on Saturday at Collins Park - win and keep its season alive.

And it did just that, recording a clinical 20-run win.

Civeo skipper Mark Page won the toss and elected to bat.

His openers, Nick Smart and Lachlan Cameron, began positively.

The pair took the score to 0-54 at drinks after 15 overs.
