Craig O’Connor was recently announced as the man to lead the Narrabri District Junior Cricket into the future.
At the association’s annual general meeting last month, O’Connor was elected as the chairman of the committee.
Joining him in key roles on the association are familiar faces Dave Hogan (vice-chairman), Becky Hogan (secretary), Jan Ford (canteen coordinator), and Bianca Mace and Andrew and Kaylene McClenaghan.
O’Connor, whose sons Gabriel Bernard play in the under-9s and under-12 competitions respectively, said he was looking forward to his new role.
“I want to progress junior cricket,” O’Connor said.
“I would also like junior cricket to become an independent body - we want to fund ourselves.”
