Dowdell does it again as RSL topples Crossroads

Mick Dowdell was back to his brilliant best on Saturday night.

The RSL batsman entered round 11 as the leading runscorer with 313 runs, 25 more than second-highest scorer Coby Cornish.

Cornish (holidays) did not play for Crossroads in a match where Dowdell stretched his lead at the summit of the runscorers to 78 runs with a thrilling 53.

In his innings he struck three sixes and three fours.

His side scored 9-124 before bowling out Crossroads for just 33.
