Mixed Up’s Rylee Baker prepares to pass.

There were six matches of senior netball contested in round two of the 2018 Narrabri Netball Association winter season.

The most significant result of the day was in the A-grade competition, where Mixed Up defeated Fever 45-38.

In doing so, the side became the first since the 2016 grand final to beat Fever.

In that match Fever suffered a one-point loss to Sweet Champagne, before winning every game including the grand final in 2017, as well as the side’s round one fixture late last month.

In the other round two match in A-grade NWC challenged a Narrabri Pharmacy Flamingos side which lined up with just six players.

NWC won that match comfortably 29-10.

In B-grade Phoenix downed the Golfie Grubs 38-20, and Bron’s Babes beat RSL Babes 41-25.

In the C-grade matches MGAS 13s and Wee Waa Sr were victorious.

MGAS defeated Firebirds 29-7, while Wee Waa beat Bluebirds 30-5.

In the under-9/10 competition Saphires defeated the Valley Vixens 7-1, while Diamonds edged out Opals 4-3.

In the under-11-13 matches Namoi Cotton Thunderbirds downed All Sorts 9-6, Mellow Yellow beat Crusaders 9-4 and C and W Firebirds accounted for Life Savers 14-11.
