Ricky Holt stopped in at the Narrabri Bowling Club during his 50 for 50 Bowls tour last Saturday.

Back, Neville Ryan, Rob Wolters, Ricky Holt, Alex Mathews, David Briggs, Bev Ryan, front, Kay Carolan, Joyce Briggs, Lyn Wedesweiler, Trish Allison, Helen Woodward, Allan Gray, Dawn Armstrong and Marie Redman.

Ricky Holt has been a resident of the Far South Coast of NSW for close to 30 years.

He currently resides in Pambula Beach where he runs his own plumbing company.

He has raised money for causes such as Bali orphanages, but his main fundraising efforts have been towards cystic fibrosis and autism.

His passion for these causes is motivated by nieces and nephews who suffer from either cystic fibrosis and autism, and in one case both, and seeing the effects both on them as well as their families and others around them.

Holt’s latest fundraising adventure has taken him so far to 33 bowling clubs in the state.

His aim is to travel to 50 clubs in 50 days to both raise awareness and fundraise for cystic fibrosis and autism.
