Country rugby league clubs cannot function without the hard work of dedicated individuals behind the scenes.
As far as the Narrabri Rugby League Football Club is concerned, Pat Mowle is certainly one of those people.
Mowle played for the club for 10 seasons from 1982 to 1991.
He then served on the club’s committee from 1992 to 1996, and again from 2012 through to the current season.
Mowle can be found at each and every Narrabri Blues gameday - both home and away - running up and down the line and all around the field as the club’s head trainer.
A lover of both the club and the sport itself, Mowle is one of the backbones of the Narrabri Blues.
In 2017 at the club’s annual general meeting Mowle was recognised for his efforts, named as a Narrabri Rugby League life member.
On Saturday, after his sons Kaleb and Jordyn helped guide the Blues’ reserve grade side to a two-point victory, Pat Mowle was presented with a Narrabri Blues life member blazer.
He was presented the prestigious momento by life member Frank Fish and current president Michael Gleeson.
