Touch comps heating up as summer nears

90 tries scored in round seven of Narrabri Touch Inc comps

Narrabri Touch Inc’s 2017-18 summer competitions entered round seven yesterday afternoon at Cooma Oval.

There were 90 tries scored across an entertaining afternoon in the four ladies matches played, and the five men’s contests.

In the ladies matches Specialised Civil Services downed Hounddogs 4-2, ‘99 problems but touch ain’t one’ beat RSL Roulettes 5-2, Agies Ladies defeated Summers 12-2, and Redbacks won 11-1 against BPR.

In the men’s contests Grumley Builders beat Ballbusters 8-2, ARP Bottletops defeated Hidden talent 6-5, Mowley’s Maniacs downed Stylemasters 6-4, Gee Bangers beat Cougars 9-3 and Northwest Events and The Golfie had a 4-all draw.
