Sporting clubs cannot function without the hard work and tireless efforts of those behind the scenes.
And not many have had bigger impacts on sporting clubs like that of Narrabri Touch’s Tracy Warren.
After eight wonderful years as the club’s registrar, Warren has decided to step back and allow someone else to fulfil the role.
That person was announced as Melissa Hall at the recent annual general meeting.
However, Warren will remain in a supporting role for 12 months to help Hall learn the ropes.
Warren has been part of Narrabri Touch for 24 years, as a player, a committee member, a referee, a supporter, and a lover of the game.
Warren said that she had thoroughly enjoyed her years on the committee, and with Narrabri Touch in general.
She joined it 12 years ago as a general committee member, then became junior president then senior registrar.
