Narrabri Touch Inc hosted round three of the 2018-19 summer touch competitions yesterday evening at Cooma Oval, Narrabri.

It was the second match of the season for all sides following a first round washout, and last week’s games.

There were six men’s matches played and six women’s games contested yesterday.

Incredibly there were 108 tries scored across those matches, with many of the teams beginning to find early-season form.

In the men’s games One23 downed Ballbusters 8-5, Stylies defeated Outback Shack Tigers 7-3, Grumley Builders outscored GeeBangers 6-2, Emus beat Hidden Talent 7-5, Dangardays downed Mowley’s Maniacs 10-0 and ARP Bottletops beat Round Ballers 11-1.

The Bottletops’ win was one of the most impressive of the afternoon.

The side lined up with just five players but still managed to win by 10 tries.

ODAP’s defeated Cougars by forfeit.

In the women’s games BPR downed Rave 7-2, Xtra edged out Dolphins 4-3, Redbacks outscored Specialised Civil Services 5-3, Hounddogs beat RSL Roulettes 4-1, Agies Ladies defeated Emus 10-0 and Mini Emus beat Steph’s Angels 4-0.
