Blue Boars downed in first grade and sevens but the under-19s win

Narrabri Blue Boars under-19 centre James Baker crosses for the side’s fourth try of the day on Saturday in a 38-12 win against Gunnedah.

The Narrabri Blue Boars travelled to Walcha with three grades to play elimination semi-finals on Saturday.

One of those returned home a winner.

In the first game of the day Narrabri’s under-19s side defeated Gunnedah Red Devils.

It was victorious 38-12.

However the rest of the day was not as successful for the club.

The Blue Boars women’s sevens side went down 20-7 against Gunnedah after taking an early 7-0 lead.

Narrabri’s first grade outfit then suffered a 49-point loss, going down 54-5 to Walcha.
