Videographer Scott Moloney has filmed the fashions, the races, including the Wean Cup, and the people at Wean.
“There was a little train for the children, a top band from Gunnnedah, footraces, jumping castle, and a great atmosphere.
“There as lots of colour - people were wearing ‘poppy red’ in keeping with the World War 1 theme.
“Wean president Les Alker gives a great description as to why the 1915 theme was adopted.”
Over 2000 people attended this year’s Wean Picnic Races on the weekend, with many punters adopting the 1915 ‘red and white’ dress theme.
