Forum to help families navigate the drought

Wednesday August 8: drought help, information, support

Russell Webb is one of the convenors of the Narrabri Farming Families and Small Business Forum at Narrabri RSL Club on Wednesday next week.

How do drought affected families find out where they can go for advice and assistance from government agencies and support organisations?

“Just come along to the Farming Family and Small Business Forum at Narrabri RSL Club on Wednesday, August 8,” said one of the convenors, Tamworth-based Russell Webb.

The Narrabri forum will be held from 10am to 3pm.

Mr Webb and a group of supporters have organised a series of forums across the north west designed specifically to help families in drought.

‘We will have all the people they need to help navigate the pathway through the various avenues of assistance available from governments and others,” said Mr Webb.

“It is all about navigating the drought.”

The forums were an initiative that aimed to support farmers to make the right decisions today for tomorrow, to help them navigate through the drought.
